Researching the intersections and correlations between AI and creativity.
Advanced pattern recognition systems increasingly permeate all areas of life. Thus, automation is taking over cognitive tasks previously performed by humans and is also claiming to make creative decisions on its own in the context of art and design. This shift in the human-machine relationship contains numerous cultural, art- and design-theoretical and ethical implications.
The research field “AI and Creativity” is currently being worked on within the framework of courses and seminars, in an advisory role at the JRC and with own artistic works and positions.
