Basics of the Moving Image II: Post Production Processes

We got an overview of the postproduction pipelines of Digital Video/ Digital Cinema/ CGI/ VFX and their typical workflows.

From image acquisition on the set to editing, compositing, color grading and the final deliverable: knowledge and understanding of all these production phases is the basis for the successful implementation of a digital moving image production.

The aim of the seminar was to deepen the already acquired knowledge and skills in the field of video production and to contribute to a better understanding of IT-based design processes. On the one hand, this should enable a mature handling of digital video technology and, on the other hand, lay the foundation for goal-oriented design with complex digital technologies in general.
